Lancer found me wondering the streets of Florence in search of hot chocolate. I'm back at his place now. Just saw the new pix from the Phils.

The rumor that the Fly-Away bus from LAX to Union Station runs every 20 minutes is highly exaggerated.

How long did you have to wait for the 20 min bus?...Glad you made it though!

Probably an hour.

Once it got me to Union Station, I walked onto the platform just as the Gold Line tram was pulling up. ....then the driver went on his break.

So, after landing at LAX just after 9 p.m., I got home around midnight. I then posted on Poly, played Civ IV for a couple of hours then went to bed.

The good news is two of my sugar plantations are up and running, and I can now trade the Chinese for fish.

Fish?!? I'm jealous of the Chinese, we could never get you n e a r fish. Wouldn't work anyway, I can't have the sugar.

I told Dolores about your travel troubles and she said going to the Philippines is faster.

Yesterday, I spent a lot of time in airports. We left at..what...8 a.m.? I got home at midnight. Which is 16 hours. I probably spent about 4 hours in the air. And most of the rest of it wandering around airports...waiting, and waiting and waiting.
