    I hope everyone agrees that New York is THE city. But which city is the second most important one?

            I'm not so certain whether NYC really tops London. They're the big 2 though. Paris, Hong Kong and Tokyo are next in line, though not necessarily in that order.

                              Chicago is the second most important city in the US. Nobody would even know if you carpetbombed LA for at least two weeks...

                              Chicago is the #2 financial city (CBOT/CME), and the #1 architectural city. Thus, #2 in terms of importance.
