Civ4 is awesome (especially since BTS), but Civ3 was awesome also!
Maybe we could do a PBEM and make a cool thread in the Civ3 PBEM forum!

Eh, I never got into Civ III multi, kind of wierd to start now. Also, never played a PBM game since I was like 15 and played a nuke the world snail mail game with some wargaming friends. No clue how to do it with email.Long time member @ Apolyton

I just bought Civ4 and expansions for $60. I could have gotten them for half that price if I didn't mind the manuals being in another language.
I never got into Civ3.I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).Comment

I figure to get this comp up to what's needed for IV I'd have to go $160 for a graphics card and $60 for RAM. Then I still couldn't play on the largest map, same as my comp in the Phils. Better I just be patient.Long time member @ Apolyton

You could spend $60 on a graphics card and ... depends on how much RAM you have. There are several $50-$75 graphics cards that are quite good (well above Civ4 standards) right now.<Reverend> IRC is just multiplayer notepad.
