Things have been going up in price quite rapidly as of late. I am surprised that the inflation rate is "supposedly" only 2.5% over here...hmmm...

I've noted biggest increases in my personal consumption on dairy products. Gas is second, but that's because of tax raise and i only need to fill up once a month usually.

the official rate of inflation is a very poor reflection of the increasing cost of living for ordinary people. food, fuel, utilities and council tax (i got my bill through recently and i'm furious!) have all gone up, and clearly that's a huge part of most people's budget.

it's getting really bad now, i'm going to have to think seriously about a new job. i love what i do, but my salary is a joke and i can no longer afford to see the funny side.

Lowering prices of electronics and cars kept inflation in Finland at 3.9% last month, so real cost of living has increased more.

Well it would imply an annual rate of approx 12.7%, but that would be pedantic
