At the center of a black hole is it the same time as the moment of its formation?
Man, I haven't been wrong, ever. Do you have any idea what you have done? You pompus mother****ing ass!
Let's get this over.
You probably know more about the subject than I do.
Modern man calls walking more quickly in the same direction down the same road “change.”
The world, in the last three hundred years, has not changed except in that sense.
The simple suggestion of a true change scandalizes and terrifies modern man. -Nicolás Gómez Dávila
Why would we do it when you like tooting your own horn so much?
He'd need to get a rib or two removed to be able to do that
THEY!!111 OMG WTF LOL LET DA NOMADS AND TEH S3D3NTARY PEOPLA BOTH MAEK BITER AXP3REINCES
AND TEH GRAAT SINS OF THERE [DOCTRINAL] INOVATIONS BQU3ATH3D SMAL
AND!!1!11!!! LOL JUST IN CAES A DISPUTANT CALS U 2 DISPUT3 ABOUT THEYRE CLAMES
DO NOT THAN DISPUT3 ON THEM 3XCAPT BY WAY OF AN 3XTARNAL DISPUTA!!!!11!! WTF
BTW, there is at least one other real physicist still around (Jon Miller; he does nuke stuff). There used to be another dude in HE theory (Rogan Josh) but I haven't seen him in ages.

While we're asking clueless physics questions, how does gravity fit into the whole no-work-without-energy bit? I mean, if you need to expend energy to move objects...does the universal effect of gravitation have some sort of "power source," or is it exempt from the usual rules somehow, or is it one of those things we don't know yet? Yeah, I feel really dense asking this, especially since I don't know any of the proper terminology.
Along with what KH said (and sticking with plain Newtonian physics), gravity actually has the mathematical property that it conserves energy. Essentially, if mass A falls towards mass B, the kinetic energy gained is exactly equal to the energy necessary to push mass A back to its original distance. Therefore you can precisely measure the "potential energy" of the gravitational force between A and B, and the sum potential energy between A and B + kinetic energy of A + kinetic energy of B is a constant. (Unless/until something else interferes with the system.)
edit: I hope that was halfway coherent. I'm tired enough that I can't really tell...
edit2: Another way to illustrate it: an ideal spring is also a conservative force. When you pull it back 5 inches, you give the system a certain amount of potential energy. When you release the spring, that potential energy is converted into kinetic energy and the spring contracts. At the neutral point (where the spring would normally be if no one stretched it) all of the energy is kinetic energy, and the spring starts getting compressed. This slows the spring down, converting kinetic energy into potential energy, until the spring pauses for a moment before starting to extend. (This continues indefinitely unless you add friction or damping.) The entire time, the kinetic energy of the spring + the potential energy in the spring is constant (and based on how far you pulled the spring back originally). Gravity is conservative in the same way.
If you are refering to poly, I would have never guessed it. I mean most with half a brain here seem to be in social "sciences" ( ).
But If you are speaking generaly I can only say: "No **** Sherlock."

Jon Miller? Well, I suspected he was, I would have never guessed you had your level of experties. I suppose my opinion of you has improved, you are still an arongant ass but at least you have good reason to be one.

What point are you at in your education? I'm guessing that you're an undergraduate, but correct me if I'm wrong.
You are right. Damm, talk about being put in your place.

Wahhh. You've hurt my feelings so much. Nobody here has ever told me that before.
What is up with you I'm paying you a goddamm compliment? My goal isn't to hurt you, I am merley standing corrected.
Have I mentioned I hate you so much I would need to write up a whole new mathematical language just to loosley describe my emotions?

Are you going to continue past a baccalaureate? How much longer do you have before you need to make that decision? If you are going on, what are you thinking about in terms of grad school (both area of research and school)?

Now unless you are a theoretical physicist, I doubt it very much that your comment was appropriate, and expect an apology.
