On this day in 1933 Congress passed a law making it legal to once again sell beer in the US. It would still be several months before the 18th amendment was officially repealed and the alcohol content of beer was strictly limited to 3.5% but it was still a mile stone. Stupid & pig headed Christian fundamentalists had rammed prohabition down America's throat but slowly the religious fundamentalists were beaten back and freedom was restored.
To bad we still have to contend with the religious dip****s to this day (and they're still doing their best to **** everything up and to force their narrow bigoted views on everyone else) but today is still a great day for everyone who likes to have a glass of beer and to be free from the religious nonsense of the imbeciles.
