    The Dalek Song.

I thought we're trying to have a serious discussion? It says serious in the thread title!- Al. B. Sure

They need to get all their Daleks in line.

No real need when you have an explode all daleks button.

(that is the intergalactic version of getting all the ducks in line I guess )

If you don't get why all of these things are totally irrelevant you will never understand the show. I thought it was an awesome end to the series - at times funny, at times scary, at times moving, and above all cracking entertainment quite unlike anything else on TV.

Roll on series 5 - with Stephen Moffat at the helm it can only get better.
Hear hear. The program is supposed to be fun, not a scientific documentary. It's great entertainment

You can't get rid of them that easily, they were created by a Welshman...

Right. As I understand Journey's End Dalek Caan looked into the time vortex, saw how evil the Daleks were, and decided that they needed to be destroyed. So...... he brought Davros back from the Time War, had him recreate the Dalek race---which had been extinct---- and then arranged for the Doctor to destroy them all.

                Brilliant!

I had a slightly different interpretation that he went mad whilst rescuing Davros...he wouldn't have looked into the time vortex otherwise, from what I have interpreted...

...and we all know that Davros isn't dead
