3-4 times a week for family of 3. Why? Because we have this god-awful washer and dryer that takes forever to do a load (like 90 minutes to wash, 50 minutes to dry). We've even worse washers the last two places we lived (in those cases, these ridiculous German things that only did small loads and took hours to do it). God, I miss American laundry tech.

Daily for laundry.
I don't know why he saved my life. Maybe in those last moments he loved life more than he ever had before. Not just his life - anybody's life, my life. All he'd wanted were the same answers the rest of us want. Where did I come from? Where am I going? How long have I got? All I could do was sit there and watch him die.

About once every week. Sometimes it takes me a few days... even though I at most have to do 2 loads (not including towels). It takes me longer because...
I was doing my laundry today, but I took a nap this afternoon after starting the first load and forgot about until reading this thread, so they're still there. I'll finish up in the morning I guess.
I wash everything together, though I do try to keep my jeans in their own load (or with towels) so that they don't cause extra wear to the other clothes. (I have no proof that they would, but the thought of the buttons, zippers, and general heavy fabric seems it could.) I don't have any whites except a couple pairs of socks, and they're still white after about a year of such treatment.
I did once have a tan colored shirt which became redder due to my laziness, but it actually looked better that color so no worries.

I should probably clarify that.
I almost never do laundry.
We have 2 adults and 2 young kids in the house - so the laundry does build up a bit.
Also we have a Haus Meri (sort of housekeeper/nanny/local helper) - washes everything every day.
Seriously - if I don't want something washed - I have to put it away.
We have managed to convince her to only change the sheets every third day - she cannot handle any longer period.I don't know why he saved my life. It would be ridiculous for me to expect you to be open. I'm not gonna walk by at ten and say, "Hey, I walked by at three, you guys were closed. Someone owes me an apology. This jacket would be halfway done!"

Remember, biweekly is an ambiguous word. It can mean twice a week or once every two weeks.

My wife cleans the bathroom, but I do my own laundry.
I haven't changed sizes in a long time so I only need to do laundry once a month. (when my daughter is home from school, the washing machine and dryer are probably only available once a month) We have a large washing machine so I only have to do 5 loads when I do it.It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit.
