Aaargh!!!
I so much hate the word kohu as well. It really pisses me off. And they're always looking for those kohublondis as well. They're not kohublondis, they're btiches. Let's make it straight, it's the more proper label.
Besides the media can do no wrong, because they can make themselves the bad guy. You see, that also sells
. It's like the joke about advertising people by Bill Hicks, where he says "If you're in advertising, go kill yourself", and then all the marketers are always saying good, you're going for the let's hate marketing dollar, it's a big dollar, good business, right?
So it sucks, and these days, our few tabloids have simply grown too big. If one makes a scandal like this, others have to follow. But it used to be other tabloids, not all media. It is as if they're afraid of missing out. Which is a fact, they would be missing out if they didn't do their own massive dirty work, unfortunately they know this.
But of course real journalism is the victim here as well as everything else. It's about money, once again. It is a perverted world where media asks what we want, and we want dirt, even made up ****, as long as it's juicy. Then it delivers, and we want more so they give more.
But in this case, it goes the other way around. It creates the demand by making up stuff. It's not that it was asked, now it was just given anyway. If stories like these don't get the friction needed, we know they'll just pound it for two weeks, looking for new angles. They don't drop it, they've already invested into making it a big story. This time it goes even further than that, this time it has actual ramifications, serious consequences. Unfortunately this will only excite these horny bastards in the future. Can you imagine, that you can't evne tell an obnoxious tabloid punk to get f'd, because oh well, that's going to be it?
It is as if police breaks the law, is investigated by the same police and the outcome is judged by police. How can police then do wrong? It can't. When it becomes aware of this, does the abuse and corruption go up or down?
