I'm not sure how the right of the people to speak = the right of state employees to speak

if this went to court I'd argue eminent domain and Congress' power to raise armies, not free speech

What I find funny is that this Jon Stewart segment has been interpreted as a 'conservative' one.

It doesn't say in that link that it was conservative. It says that conservatives could find it funny.
