What's better, it took a Jew to post that reply. And now there's Court Haus as well, so I can go to sleep without worrying too much about this place...

I didn't realise taking sides was necessary. I'll try better next time.

Siro took my horribly anti-semitic statement out of his signature. I no longer have recognition.

I would like to post my support for the "anti-Stupid" side. If it indeed exists...

That's really crass. You ought to be ashamed to make that kind of statement.

                  Man this thread sucks.

I would chime in to say that the students' actions are ignorant and just plain stupid, but then again I don't want to be associated with some people in this thread with the same opinion.

George Eliot lived in the "Middle Ages"?

Anyway... let them reap what they sow. I'm sure I could find some objection to any SAT question, but whatever, if I don't answer it I don't get credit.

Trying to ignore the past, in context, is no excuse for being ignorant.

i do not condone the girls' actions and i think it is stupid to refuse to have anything to do with someone you suspect of something bad.

but i can explain their actions using the growing fanaticism and introvertedness of many orthodox jewish groups. they start deciding for themselves what they like and what they don't without accepting foreign authority and using very dubious qualifiers.

however to address it like you did, as jewish abuse of sympathy, or to make fun of the hollocaust, claiming you don't mind having your grandparents, brothers and sisters killed, so you could get sympathy benefits is beyond tasteless. it is dumb.
Well some jews have turned the holocaust into a profitable business, I'm sure they don't complain...

After all even Martin Luther as founder of Protestantism was an Antisemite.
Well, he wasn´t it in the beginning, when he still believed he could convert the jews to the christian faith, but became it later when the jews he encountered kept resisting his efforts to turn them into faithful christians

Well, glad to see that sarcasm is a meaningful standard to apply.

Edit - Or do you really think I support that position?
