    Look, they're both reprehensible behaviors on a personal level, but there's a difference between legal hypocrisy - being caught up in a prostitution ring, and after being a famous crusader for cleaning up politics to boot - and mere infidelity. Hell, Spitzer has prosecuted prostitution rings before. It's a whole different level of immorality.
    Personally I think betrayal is worse than hypocracy and law breaking. But I guess everyone doesn't feel that way.

        Many people cheat. Many people are dicks to their friends. Not many people make a career out of legal and political crusading and then patronize a prostitution ring. I'm not justifying any of these things, but Spitzer's offense is clearly worse in my mind. It's also more relevant to the business of politics; I don't give two ****s if a politician sleeps around, but professional hypocrisy and illegal activities are very germane to the suitability of a public official.

          The main issue is it may have lost him his standing inside the party - which you clearly need to run for higher office. If the folks in the Democratic party don't want you to win, you won't win, without some pretty impressive wrangling...

                    Obama is doing pretty good. At the beginning Hillary had pretty much all the internal support but Barry has slowly won them over.
