Final Cylon

I think they should explain Starbuck's stuff with some dimensionalhypergatememorybackthingie and leave the final one open. Kind of tribute to the unknown Cylon

Also, why did they spent so much time on Starbuck's mother in one episode if SB is a Cylon. Boomer's memories of her parents in season 1 one were all fake. Or the last five Cylons work differently. Oh, and how would they resurrect (if SB did) them, since that is - at least so far we know - done by the first Cylons which told earlier (in the episodes with the temple) they don't know about the final 5. /geek

There are definitely strong indications Starbuck's the final Cylon but to be fair she never 'died and came back', we simply don't know what happened yet. Frankly I think her being a Cylon is too easy an explanation for this show, I say she's a red herring.

I don't think it'll be someone *really* high profile like Roslin, Starbuck, Baltar or either Adama, but it would be really anti-climactic if it was someone too obscure. It's really fairly open as far as I'm concerned but if I had to put money on it I'd put it on either Dualla or Zarek.

To be fair I think Zarek's somewhat more likely (and I agree he would be more interesting) -- between Doral, Tyrol, Tigh and Boomber they had plenty of agents on Galactica as it is (although I guess the Seven don't know about the Final Five and we don't know the agenda of the latter, the four we know were all senior resistance members so they're not exactly on the same page).

Not so sure about that. The Final Five seem to be a mystery to the other models as well.

IIRC, she did NOT have a baby. She was the focus of intense scrutiny by "Doctor" Simon on Caprica.

It would be a little too easy, however, for RDM to pick Starbuck as the Cylon. No, she's Human. Same with Felix Gaeta -- everyone and their brother has suspected him of being a toaster since the miniseries...which is why he won't be the last one, either.
