To Brazil yes, in fact because of their demographic and economic weight Brazil sees itself as the leader of South America. Brazil is also involved in MERCOSUR with Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay.
The Guayanas are more similar to english caribean commonwealth ex colonies than to spanish and portuguese America, so no fraternity with them.
