  • Best Classical Piano?

Recommend me some. I've got some Chopin but it's not my cup of tea really.

I do LOVE Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto 1, the last half of it is absolutely brilliant. It's just so good. Playful, powerful, beautiful, brilliant, it's got everything.

    So. Your favourites?

I love J.S. Bach. (Specially his Fugue)

You could also try Rachmaninoff, Piano Concerto N.2 & N.3

Maybe you'll like Brahms: Piano concerto n.2 which is (IMO) very good!

I never ever appreciated Debussy. Find it boring.

I link these video on behalf of what Pekka said he like about Tchaikovsky, which is not the most introspective composer.

I'll stand on my ground; Debussy to my ear is noise (with few exception). You could educate me and send something that you like of Debussy .

Noise??? Maybe because he's not playing in standard scales? Oh, yeah, that's noise:

                            Debussy - Arabesque
Its lovely, but to be frank, I heard it one two many times. Its a bit too "nice". Your grandma would like it.

                            Debussy - Reflets dans l'eau

These two pieces are particularly good.

For me and my grand ma!
