I want to listen to the Sandpipers

My Irish Setter 'Daisy' long gone, used to chase those for miles on the beach in Oregon. She would disappear from view running like a complete nutcase. My golden retriever, Rommel, and I would look on in disturbed amazement.

Rommel wasn't a nazi, and niether was the general. The Golden had redish hair, more of a Viking coastal raider type than a wacko political nutjob blondie. Rommel the general was forced to eat poison at Hitler's command for his minor involvement in the '44 bomb plot, the famous (?) next to his name as the man to replace Hitler. Rommel the dog ate salmon that was bad while wandering around. He was very difficult to keep restrained. He would get going then blitz his way through all my best efforts to keep him from getting out and making trouble.
