    I think they understood it, but their goal wasn't to win the war, just to snap up resources-rich places like Indonesia and then hang on and negotiate a peace.

      I used to watch Victory at Sea and Why We Fight back in the early 90's. Why we fight wasn't very good but it was interesting to see the war time propaganda.

          I was quite surprised when I first watched The Battle of Britain (part 4 of Why We Fight). I hadn't checked the production date so since the DVD looked reasonably modern, I was expecting an honest documentary... instead, I learned what WWII-era propaganda looked like .

              What was the original order that they were released or shown in. The order listed is alphabetic.

                Not sure what the exact order is but you should be able to reconstruct it using the time frame of what occurred in what year.
