Marijuana and mushrooms. The mushrooms did virtually nothing to me. A little disappointing really. Marijuana I still have every now and then.

Oh yeah, and I've eaten bananas. Never smoked them though.

I'm a wee bit shocked that as many as 21 people have taken cocaine.

It would be interesting to know how many did so once and how many went on to do so regularly.

I tried it once while very drunk. It didn't impress me. It woke me up, made me impossible to shut up and I wound up with one of the most evil hangovers of my life the next day. It didn't strike me as good value.

Im not suprised coke is the 2nd most prevalent these days as coke seems to have transgressed social boundaries and become the 'everymans party stimulant' for all occasions

Well as long as we're all airing our dirty linen....Weed, Hash, Coke, Crack, Shrooms, Acid and X. Another reason the poll could be invalid is that Weed and Hash not even in the same catagory as anyone whose smoked them would know.

And I agree with Sloww about smoking pot.

I haven't tried that many, but I'm a little suprised that I'm one of the few that's done GHB. Not the right demographic to have participated in the rave scene?

No. I haven't tried X either. Is it similar?

Also, you could have put Ice up there since it's the cystal meth equivalent to crack. Very nasty stuff.

I actually haven't tried X, but GHB is often called Liquid X (as it was when I used it), so I imagine they've got pretty similar effects. Definitely a euphoric feeling if not taken in too large a dose.

GHB is much more similar to alcohol in its effects. In low to moderate doses is quite similar to having a few drinks. It does produce some euphoria, but nothing like E. G is a dopamine inhibitor whereas E floods your brain with serotonin. Unlike alcohol, it produces little to no hangover effect, due to having very little toxic metabolites; after all, it is produced naturally bu the body.

YEah but you've got to realize the party scene, as in... GHB is not that old, E is way more popular and came earlier. I remember it was very much in the papers int he late 90s as my mom would ask me if I had tried it, because I went to parties ALL the time. She was like "it's a date rape drug", so I had to explain that mom, I get laid without date rape drugs and I don't like to rape girls and I knew of it anyway because it was popular in the late 90s. Don't know about today though.

To me parties seem a lot cleaner these days. I just see the usual which is people on speed and possibly E, as well as few coke heads. Aside that? Mostly alcohol users. Booze has made a big come back. Myself? I still go sober. I might have few drinks, but I like to go to parties sober, as in electronic music parties. Maybe take few vodka redbulls once inside.

I haven't been even offered to buy drugs in... quite a few years now, so it has definitely gone down a lot. AT least in here, I don't know how is it in your countries.
