That's an awesome deal someone got on assassinations. I hope they get a bonus.

BEIRUT, Lebanon (CNN) -- A senior Hezbollah commander implicated

            Implicated?

Killings authorised by unnamed officials based on who knows what
            Proper trials

A question for all the people who wellcomed this. What do you personally know about this case? Did you even hear this guy's name before (I certainly did not)? Why do you think that the guy deserved it?

I would certainly prefer having a trial for such guys, but given the environment it's difficult to imagine how that could happen. I don't think using carbombs or so is a generally great thing when done by Israel (if they did it), but the sad fact is that it's perfectly within the logic of this conflict, and this will not change anytime soon.

I'd accept "Israeli assassins," but not "terrorists." Terrorists attack civilian targets in order to spread terror. Mughniyeh was a military commander believed to have masterminded 100s of deaths, both civilian and military.
