  • Infidelity

Yesterday, I pulled out a CD of old Leslie Gore songs, including Maybe I Know.

Maybe I know that he's been a cheatin'.
Maybe I know that he's been untrue,
    But what can I do?

Deep down inside, he loves me,
    'Though he may run around.
Deep down inside, he loves me.
    Someday he'll settle down.
Can you imagine any guy saying such a dang fool thing, singing a love song with lyrics like:

    My girl's got round hells.
She sleeps with anything in pants.
    But she really loves me.
    She's my sweet romance.
Double standard, sure. But why?? Why will many women stay with a serial cheater while men will walk?

I'm not so sure that your claim is absolutely true. I know a man who stays with his cheating women.

It's not me though. I dumped mine.

I'd guess men don't walk every time, particularly if they have kids together. Still, the relationship would be dead, the trust gone the years after a waste for the couple and for what?

        Not worth it.
