  • I'm a good human being

Did you know that? Now you know, because I just told you. If you didn't hear me the first time, I'll say it again: I'm a good human being. Now either you know, or you just have difficulties with basic comprehension skills. Do not worry though, I will not judge you for poor comprehension skills. I still protect you, unless you're a jerk. Then you're out of luck. Change your ways, and you'll get on my list again.

Craving for money? No, not really. Craving for a huge career? No, not really. I stopped caring about all those things some time ago. They don't do anything for me. Of course I can afford to not care, because my position is secure and it's pretty relaxed stuff.

However, I've noticed most people are *******s. No, not just stupid, but *******s. Selfish ******. ONly thinking about themselves, me first, everyone else after that if there's time. Well guess what, it's not just the way to go about it. You can go all day long about it, but there will be a day when you run and crash against that brick wall and you will never win it. That is, you just defeated yourself. Why bother, save the time and listen what others have discovered, if you don't have the time, I can basically give you a concised version.

A warm cup of coffee or tea is sometimes better than that raise or any pile of money. A cup of tea never gives you more problems. But it tastes nice and if you really tune in, it feels nice as well.

A good song is priceless, it moves you inside, it gives you that extra push or just brings back the motivation. Money as motivation creates nothing more but more forced motivation, with that big pile of responsibilities and pressure for results. Why bother? A good song is cheap and doesn't give you more problems.

A hug can change your course for the better. Sometimes you just need it and when you get it, there's no amount of money that can do the same. Of course you can buy that hug, but it really isn't the same now is it? And that stuff is free and is supposed to be free.

Best things in life are usually free. Sometimes making it yourself makes it more special, unless you can't really do it, then why not just pay for it. But if you can and have the time, why not? Sure, sure, put the money in good use so you pay for services so those jobs are there and blaablaablaa. Well, it's not like I have any money saved, so I'm using it all anyway. But I rather make it myself sometimes, it's fun and means more to me. Try it sometimes, unless you want to become a specialized robot rainman who can only do one thing well. You don't have to do it very well to enjoy it. It's in the process anyway, it's the journey that is the ending and the ending is just the end of that journey so why wait it so eagerly? Dont' enjoy it? Then you're doing it wrong. Do it right.

Saying "Thank you" and "I'm sorry" doesn't cost anything. But sometimes it gains you a smile. Cheer up someones day and your day becomes better instantly. Free of charge. Plus, you just helped someone else, so that's one decision that helps two. Look people in the eyes when you talk to them, lift your head up. I know, sometimes you don't feel like it or you're afraid of people, but once you get the hang of it, you don't know why you ever avoided eye contact in the first place. You're missing out.

Do lots of reflection. You can never make any sense out of anything unless you know yourself, because it's like driving a car without knowing how to drive one. Where do you think you end up? Don't worry if no one understands you, worry if you don't understand anyone. And that's it.

Start taking time to do stuff. Take time to wake up, take time to eat your breakfast and have your breakfast to begin with. Oh, and one last thing. Stop being afraid of actually living. There's nothing to it really, just forget what others might think, be honest to yourself and follow your heart. Hold no grudges, forgive others and go out with style of not being part of the problem.

Well, why be stressed out when you can be happy, it's an obvious choice really.

How to be happy is individual, but it never arrives from money so... being happy is a feeling and a state, so to go for that one, you actually can't buy it or buy things that makes it reality.

At the end of the day, you're happy when your'e happy with yourself. That the starting point. You can have just about anything but if you don't like yourself, you won't be happy. It's not the end, it's the start.

Not really, but I have not ruled out the possibility of falling in love with a man. It's just another human being. I fall for humans, not genders. That said, I haven't felt much homo love in my life so I wouldn't put my money on it, but hey, if it should ever happen, it's not like I'll just deny it and be unhappy and in denial.

Pekka, if you continue with this hippie stuff I'm going to complain to the mods. You are beginning to sound like a communist, which is I think against site rules.

WEll imagine you've spent all your life doing your career. Because money doesn't come by that easy, so you have to dedicate yourself to it. So then you fail, what good did it do to you? Nothing. Sure, someone says you have to fail in order to succeed, but let's face it, most people are destined to fail and to not succeed in this endeavour.

So say you succeed. What then? You have a big fat bank account. What are you going to do with it? Look at the numbers? I can draw you some numbers right here, look: 100,000,000. There's a hundred million right there. Like it? Save the time and come back to this thread, oogle that figure all you want, free of charge, thanks to me.

So you buy that big house. It's really big now since you're in it alone, or away all day long chasing that pipe dream. Who are you going to share it with? And even if you are sharing it, if you are away all the time, well that isnt' really sharing now is it? You're away all the time so you can do exactly what? Share more? That's not how it works now is it?

So exactly what are you going to do with all that money anyway? Buy a car? Hey, I have a car already. Even that is false, I don't have a car anymore. I don't really need one. I can walk, I have a bike, the bus stop is right next to me and if I realllly need a car, I can borrow one or even rent one. Guess what, it's cheaper that way, in my case anyway, not necessarily yours. So meh, I don't know when I'll buy my next car, perhaps when the public transportation stops working or if I save a lot of money with my car, then I get a new one, or when there's a real need for it. Before that? I'm more free without it. Actually, I'm more free without most of the property anyway, it binds you. You don't become more free with them, even if you think you do.

So why bother? I can save ALL that time and stress to for example read a book, surf the internet, listening music, drinking tea or masturbating. See? Much better. Or I can go outside and have some fresh air, take some pictures, maybe one of them will actually be good some day. Yeah, got myself a new kick ass camera

Money isn't used to buy cars and such; it's used to buy people.
