I wonder how many of my fellow OT folk play Civ IV. I know, I'll make a poll.

open the thing up and you'll likely find that the actual switch is a tiny switch component with the large white mouse button suspended over it. Probably the tiny switch has gotten somewhat squashed so that fully depressing the mouse button no longer pushes it in far enough to 'click'. If you just put a gap filler, even a few layers of tiny bits of tape, over the actual switch you should be able to get it clicking like new again.

I've never played Civ. IV

I played only a couple of games of Civ. III and wasn't thrilled by it.

did you like any of the civ games? a lot of people regard civ3 as the worst and civ4 and the best so don't judge 4 by 3.
