            For my graduation ceremony my father booked the hotels for us and was sorting stuff out. We had a nightmare of a journey where his car died once and for all and we had to basically hitchhike our way to Oxford. But at least we had a nice hotel sorted out - The Nanford Guest House. It's on Iffley Road if anyone wants to ensure they avoid it. I remember we walked in through the front door and the filth and grime was appalling with gods knows how many cooked breakfasts ground into the 60's carpet and some huge obese bloke in a string vest (a heavily stained one may I add) was at the reception desk. We just turned round and walked out - the prospect of a sleepless night was more appealing than that hellhole!

            So no surprises there!
