As rah said, we will limit the number of these kinds of threads. Just like we would to any other type of thread that got out of hand.

Just out of curiosity, where did the grapefruits and real estate agents of the title come from? Did you just pick random words, did I miss those threads, or are they parts of old worn-out memes from before I joined?

No... and that's not the issue. Granted, that forum is pretty much dead... but that's still no excuse for a few posters to use it as their personal spam sand box. It's not like they can't rack up a number of posts in the OTF

Ok, I get it. But is it really worth losing posters over the matter? And if these ( most of the time rational ) posters really waren't taking this as spamming, dont their opinions count? Its posters take make this site what it is, why not bend to their demands once in a while? Even more so when the're not Ashers, No?

Are you able to admit you are wrong sometimes? Even if your guts tell you that you are right, but the majority thinks you are wrong, are you able to reconsider your judgement? Have you ever?

I've admitted on many occasions when I've been wrong.
Even changed my opinion every once in a while.

As far as what the majority of people think, that never really concerns me, because just because they are a majority that doesn't make them right.

In this situation, there was no reason for people to use a dead forum as a place for their personal spam. If they don't like it, and feel they need to leave, that's their problem. They were in the wrong. And our only response was to remove the spam. We did not restrict either of the posters (However, if they had continued after the warning...)

So in this case... I see nothing that I could possibly be wrong about
