I was watching Def Comedy Jam last night and comedian named Russell Peters(who is very funny usually), was on. He is an Indian, from the country, not Native American.
He told a story about being in Boston recently and mentioning to a white guy there that he was doing Def Comedy Jam.
The white guy says,"That's for Mondays isn't it?"
RP is confused and asks what a monday is.
The white guy says it's a black person.
"Why do you call black people mondays?"
"Because, everyone hates mondays."
He used this "joke" as an example of the new "sneaky racism" of white people.
I've never heard this before and I'm as white as they come.
So is it a white thing I missed out on?
Is it a Boston-New England white thing?
Or is this guy just stirring up trouble between races that he doesn't really belong to?
ACK!
