    Music for airports can sound... dull.(in a way it is)

    Music for airports - Brian Eno

    Here a sample:


    The music was designed to be continuously looped as a sound installation, with the intent to defuse the tense, anxious atmosphere of an airport terminal.

      Ambient 1- Music For Airports
      Apollo: Atmospheres and Soundtracks
      Arcade Fire? Really?

      He made a couple of more straightforward rock albums.

          You should hear 'Blank Frank' and 'Seven Deadly Finns' then.

          'Here Come The Warm Jets' and 'Taking Tiger Mountain By Strategy' are two excellent early Eno albums.

          He also appears on '801 Live!' and on 'June 1 1974' along with John Cale, Nico and Kevin Ayers.

          If you like 'Atmospheres' then I'd also recommend 'Another Green World' (half ambient) and 'No Pussyfooting' with Robert Fripp.
