  • OMG Bush!!!

He’s basically told Israel to get back to its 1967 borders!!!

Bush calls for 'painful' Mideast concessions

"There should be an end to the occupation that began in 1967," Bush told reporters in Jerusalem.

Still, he’s called Darfur a genocide and done sweet FA about it…

Israelis – **** off back to your country!!!

    Oh wait…
Is it me, or is MOBIUS a horrible person?

Why should Bush do anything about Darfur? It isn't our problem. Besides, I don't see any other nations in the world who are in a better position to intervene, doing anything about it.

Why don't you keep your mouth confined to flapping in Wales.
With your help and insight, Wales might be worth something. Doubtful, but anything is possible.

Your shock would be a lot more compelling if it weren't for the fact that he was the first American President(wwwaaaayyyy back in early '01) to even utter the words "Palestinian State".

                    The Welsh

Don't judge Wales by Moby. Please.

Bush's speeches re: Israel/Palestine have generally been reasonable. He hasn't been able to do much more than talk, but the talk has been ok. It's tricky - no US President has been able to do much over there. I'm inclined to cut him some slack ( ).

As for Darfur... I find it amusing that someone who has been whining about the USA's military intervention in Iraq as stupid/clumsy/unnecessary/etc. seems to want the USA to interevene in Darfur. Considering that we, in your eyes, cannot do anything right, why the hell do you want us in the Sudan? Hows about the French take care 'o this one, eh?

It's all ****ing hot air and you know it...

This is the leader of supposedly the most powerful country in the world that gives Israel billions of dollars every year!

Surely he has some kind of leverage other than just words...?

That's an easy one! The US intervenes when it shouldn't and doesn't when it should...

Mobius, why are you lambasting the US for not intervening but not the EU, China, India, Russia or neighboring African nations? Darfur is not an American problem, it's an African problem.
