For those of you who have a cell phone and carry it in your pocket, have you ever swore you felt your phone ring only to look at it and see that it had not. Anyone else suffer from this on occasion or is this just the first stages of my insantity?

Phantom Phone Vibration
Which side are we on? We're on the side of the demons, Chief. We are evil men in the gardens of paradise, sent by the forces of death to spread devastation and destruction wherever we go. I'm surprised you didn't know that. --Saul TighTags: None

I've had that plenty of times - usually when both driving (a source of vibration and frustration since I can't pick up) and expecting a call."I work in IT so I'd be buggered without a computer" - Words of wisdom from Provost Harrison

Can't say that I have - it's always turned off unless I want to call someone. With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

In my humble opinion, you're all crazy for having a cell phone to begin with.

I have been using cell phones as a manager for some 21 years now, of course when i started they were this humongus car phone, not a hand held like nowadays.
I have been carrying a cell phone on my hip for maybe 12 years, and it is something I experience a lot, with or without phone attached to my hip, vibrating sensation.
I often wonder is it is causing a problem medically or not, but not so much I obsess about it.
I have to carry 2 cell phones, one is my "hotline" to shops since I have charge over 6 plants worth of equipment, approx 70 pieces of equipment, so I can set a response up should one be needed.
the other is for all else.
It wouldnt bother me if we were not allowed them, seriously, but in todays culture, it has become one of those necessary evil's.
I spend a lot of time on road, covering parts of 6 counties, so yes, it certainly is a valuable tool.
I have resisted upgrading to a Blackberry, I am fortunatly one of the last holdouts, however, when this phone dies, that will be nextHi, I'm RAH and I'm a Benaholic.-rah
