we need to establish what kind of ranking we are trying to achieve. Are we adding points to indicate the dictators that we thought were the most notable or the ones who were the least bad? If we are taking points from the dictators that we find to be the most despicable I'm amazed that Tito is managing edge out Adolf Hitler, Pol Pot, Stalin and the other mega mass murderers in the list in terms of points removed so far.

Its what ever basis the participant wants to use really, I'm personally taking the thing literally and thinking to myself who really deserves to die first or conversely last. Only 246 posts left until their all dead, though I'd like to see the last man standing granted freedom.

I never realized Tito was so loathsome in comparison to the others. I would have expected Pol Pot and Hitler to drop like rocks before the likes of Tito would attract much notice.

If this poll is to mean anything we need to at least establish whether we are judging on the basis of endorsement/condemnation or on the basis notability/boringness.

Since the two basis for ranking can so easily lead to opposite or nearly opposite lists we're not really going to know any more about what people think of these dictators afterward than we did before defeating the whole purpose of soliciting opinions.

If a Dictator reaches zero at any point in the polling is he eliminated for the remainder of the thread or can he be resurrected with heals?
