  • Are you afraid of flying?

    I am, dont know why...

Maybe because of all those shows about plane crashes and stuff.

Thread is invalid without snakes on a plane option.

My brain makes me fear flying because there's a palpable risk to it, but when I'm actually in an airplane (and we're not landing or taking off) I love it.

        "afraid"? No.

I have no desire to fly anywhere though.

Flight bothers me none. Landing does. This includes takeoffs that could turn into an unplanned landing.

Afraid of flying? Nope, not at all. And flying would probably be a lot better when watching "Snakes on a plane" or some plane crash movie on the plane
Same thing about boat trips. Last time I did that there was heavy storm outside and I was watching a movie about a ship going down because of a storm

                Interesting,
for me landing and taking off is the most fun part of a flight.

Flying is far safer than getting into your car for a drive...
While I hate the whole flying experience (cramped conditions, long waits, delays), I have no fear of flying.

You can't get me on a roller coaster.

Despite the fact that I fully realize it's far safer to fly than drive, I still hate flying. I get pretty nervous at takeoff and landing. Not like take-a-handful-of-Ativan nervous, but I definitely don't enjoy it. At all.

I don't enjoy it (though I do have great interest in the hardware of the airplanes), but I don't mind it either. It's more or less routine.
