Amy Winehouse is looking promising for the players that picked her. She was in and out of hospital again last week.
Jazz singer Amy Winehouse has been discharged from hospital after being treated for an adverse reaction to medication.
A spokeswoman for University College Hospital, where Winehouse spent the night under observation, says the Rehab singer was ushered out of hospital via a private exit shortly after 9:45am.
She described Winehouse as being in "good spirits" after a "comfortable night", according to Britain's Sun newspaper.
"Our doctors decided to keep her overnight for observation. She had a comfortable night and will be discharged today," said the spokeswoman.
The singer's father Mitch, who himself was believed to have been suffering from ill health earlier this month, said that Winehouse is currently resting at home with him.
He said: "(She is) right as rain. Amy's responded well to treatment. I must admit, it was very frightening last night, seeing her in that state. But she is with good friends, not hangers-on.
"The doctors say it was an adverse reaction to prescription drugs or mixing them up. They are not sure exactly what happened and they have done tests on her. We are waiting for the results of the toxicology report later today."
The troubled diva was admitted to hospital in June after collapsing at her North London home. She was later diagnosed with early stage emphysema.
Almost exactly a year ago, Winehouse was admitted to hospital for "exhaustion". It later transpired that the star had overdosed and needed her stomach pumped.
