What is this? I say one simple thing, and hell rains down on Texas.
Excuse me. I didn't know outdoor wood burning pizza ovens were so common. Likely, the smarter Texans did. I didn't. Ok, fine. Hang me, again.

Instead, why not visit in January '09 and help me break in my pizza oven?

Is there an even smaller oven inside that oven?

Yes, it gets exponentially smaller farther in.

I would think that a wood-burning pizza oven would be incredibly inefficient for residential use. Almost all of the energy would go into heating up the bricks.

I understand using bricks for a commercial pizza oven. Once you get the oven hot, you can cook pizza after pizza after pizza.

It's the novelty of the thing I guess. It can also be used for heat as the bricks will radiate a good while afterwards. Partially enclose a patio around it and it's probably great for late night entertaining.

Yep, for that you need a pizza stone that can be used in a normal electric oven :

Bah, I've given up inviting guests. They struggle so fiercely when you try and shove them into the oven.

Nah, if you get yourself a 48" pizza size oven it's much easier to get them in

Ah! The superlarge pizza inside must attract them.
