  • New Year Resolutions

Here are my plans for 2008. I figure if I write them down it will be a bigger pressure to see them through.

    - learn Chinese. This year for real! Also, improve my German to the level of "can barely understand"
    - go to the Beijing Olympics, if possible via the transsiberian railroad
    - move to the center of the city, or to some other city
    - change my job, or get another (I need more money!)
    - learn Python, install Ubuntu, install DB2, become expert at all three
    - join Facebook, Myspace and LinkedIn
    - enforce "one web site in two months" policy (me making the sites)
    - buy a bicycle and use it to commute, alternatively, join a gym to get into a better shape
    - (some stuff too personal to post)

    What are yours?

      - Get my EQ2 raider decked in full fabled gear.
      - For the first time complete a game of BtS.
      - Lose a few (ok, many) pounds

Oh, and to ignore the Beijing Propaganda and Doping festival.

My resolution is to find a girlfriend for my friend. He is afraid to ask ladies out so I will do it for him.

'Let there be blood!' says man, and there's a sea!"

I think I'll do that too. Although possibly the following year instead.

Grow older but never, ever grow up.

For me: finish cleaning off my desk. You might think that's not a big deal, but I attacked a portion of it back on the 24th. I found an unopened Christmas present from last year. It was a 2007 calendar. Not much good now, I guess.

At the end of every year, I ****can any and all paperwork and emails. If it was important, I'll hear of it again.

Other than that, I resolve to not die. I've made that same resolution every year, and so far I've done well.

I have a few close, quality friends already but one of the things I want to do, is expand my circle of friends by meeting and befriending more people than I have done.
