So, nobody but Russia has nuclear powered cruisers NOW.
Hey everyone, I forgot, how many nuclear powered surface vessels does Russia have Compared to the USN? 3 to 10? Come someone help me out with the numbers?
Today, you are the waves of the Pacific, pushing ever eastward. You are the sequoias rising from the Sierra Nevada, defiant and enduring.
You act like it's a good thing to spend taxpayers money on such things.
Hey everyone, I forgot, how bad is the US education and health care systems? Can someone help me with some qualifiers?

What's the point of having a big military, if your population is too smart and comfortable to go to war?

You had other classes of nuclear powered cruisers?
If you read all the article, you would have seen we had nuclear powered frigates in 1964:
In May 1964, Long Beach joined the aircraft carrier Enterprise (CVN-65) and the guided missile frigate Bainbridge (DLGN-25) to form the all-nuclear-powered Task Force 1.At the end of July, the three warships began Operation Sea Orbit, a two-month unrefueled cruise around the World. It was the first all-nuclear battle formation in the history of naval operations.
ACK!

For Health care? Better than the Canadians, worse than the French. But it's not really fair using you as a measuring stick though with you being in a class with the likes of the DPRK, Cuba, and the like. Not to mention your own judicial system described it as a violation of human rights.

Our education system is terrific, and on top of it businesses can spend profits to train existing unskilled employees to gain new skills if they are having any problems.
And our healthcare system has innovation, infrastructure, and high wages which are all very positive things for a healthcare system to have.

It's only terrific because you don't know any better. When I can receive 110% as an overall mark in 8th grade science, it should be a sign that the standards are way too low.

High wages = high cost = good thing?
There's an example of a poor education system. Lack of reasonable thought.
The fact that a significant portion of your citizens lack proper access to it is also a fairly minor strike against it...

I like how you equate universal healthcare as an evil. It's like you don't even care to mask your deep hatred for poor people who can't afford it.
Who cares if your countrymen are dying due to inadequate health care, we need to spend many billions of dollars on ships that will likely never fire a missile in their lifecycle. Then we can brag about it in various online foras like our misguided spending is a huge accomplishment!

If business saw any problem, they could act. Clearly, America's education system more then meets its demand for skilled labor.

High wages, infrastructure, and innovation are all quite expensive things, that raise the cost of health care a lot. But yes, they are all great things to have.
