Denmark without planet Earth - with a twist

I know, I know, this could be considered a copycat thread, but the other was really like playing chess with checkers, so here it goes:

Denmark has been taken to a planet exactly like Eartch except without all the people for some silly reason. They're not complete morons, so they realize this.

Now the twist(s),

they believe that the world ends at their borders. So how they know that they know that they are on an alternate earth is beyond me. I don't see how they knew they were ever on earth to begin with. But the rules aren't supposed to make sense. That way I can act all smug when you're confused about my "easy" game.

Further, the new earth is overrun by cute little bunny. In fact, anywhere there was an animal on the old earth that was not a bunny, there's a bunny on the new earth to replace it. Also, bunnies have full knowledge of science, but lack the opposable thumbs to make effective use of it.

Last, the Danes are extremely allergic to bunnies. They don't realize that the planet is full of bunnies until the first few lops reach the edge of their border.

I won't claim this is diety level, let's just put it at emporer. Enjoy!

I think teh danish civilization will collapse should teh presence of an entire world beyond their borders be realized. To avoid this outcome teh evil danish government will attempt to exterminate teh entire bunny population that might violate the danish borders as well as placing those danes suspected of contact with bunnies or other foreign elements into protective quarantine.

The widely accepted Danish state religion will also be used to explain that those placed in quarantine were in fact heretics whose isolation is required to preserve the moral fabric of Danish society.

Result is that little to nothing changes for danish religious ideology but tremendous economic hardships resulting from the collapse of external trade (which danish ideology had made invisible to the danes) stirs up tremendous hatred for the 'heretics' who are blamed for them.

The all powerful danish state religion had concealed the existence of windmill technology for fear that use of such technology would subject Denmark to subversion by foreign dutch tainted values. However it is prepared to reintroduce such technology as a new danish innovation (as all inventions are understood by the populace to be danish innovations) in order to help deal with the current crisis.
