What's good natured to you is shameless spam and a totally unrelated post on his part... But you are welcome to your opinion.

Sounds to me like I was right then.

That specific post was not spam, anymore than 3 out of 4 posts anywhere on this forum at any time is.

You have a personal problem with Lancer, this is well-known to most of the regulars, but I think it would suit you to not let it influence your moderating decisions. I never noticed this side of your character before, and I must say it a bit shocking..

I also sense that you didn't expect to be called on to explain yourself, otherwise you'd have posted a warning like you usually do, instead of choosing the rather underhanded deletion approach.

Now, let's not be hasty. I've had several posts disappear, and it makes me feel weird.

Lancer has earned the attention he gets by his actions... no matter how you seem to want to spin it.

Just Niven? I've found that although he creates great worlds, his plots are sluggish.

On the other hand, Pournelle has engrossing plots, but his worlds are merely Earthlike replicas.

On the third hand, together, they make a great writing team

You must published an English translation sometime. I tried reading "The Satanic Verses," the words appeared to be English, but the sentences made no sense.

Kurt Vonnegut, who passed away this year.

                              So it goes.

BTW: Vonnegut's crypt appears in Niven & Pournelle's Inferno.

It's called literature . And the language is beautiful. That's also why I like Charles Frazier (Cold Mountain).
