actually the good feminist response would be women have the right to dye their hair any way they damn well please and it is unacceptable for men to expect women to conform to some ideal innocent image they set for women.
And in truth, that is how it should be. Women have the right to go out with blue or purple hair. Long as they understand I have the right not to like it. . Yes I admit I do prefer women to adhere to that innocent wholesome image (except in the bedroom ), and have fresh, long, flowing hair, and be free of tattoos, gang clothing/symbols etc. But I would never expect women to conform to that image.
