Federal minimum here is $5.85, but a quick check says that student minimum is $6.08 in Pennsylvania. So $7.25 is actually quite good for a teenager (in most of the country).Originally posted by Nugog

Sweden doesn't have minimum wage but even if you're just standing outside giving away free newspapers like Metro and City (nice imagination there, innit? ) you earn $15/hour if you´re under 18.

just a question bout the first topic? How impersonal is giving cash in a card? But I've worked out a solution for next year. Somewhere, I'll find a small pirate chest. Then I'll fill it with silver dollars (or maybe quarters, if I'm being cheap). I'll bury it in her backyard. Then for Christmas, I'll give her the key and a treasure map.
