Favorite Christmas cookie

Well I guess the title says it all, what is your most favorite Christmas cookie? You know the ones you wait to eat all year long. Mine was my Mom's sugar cookies. My Mom would make these awesome sugar cookies that melted in your mouth. She only made them for special occasions so it was always a treat when she did. Growing up in Germany I loved, now I can't spell it except the way it sounded to me, farfenussen. Loved those!
