Funny you should say that. Last year when I was in New York, I was asking around for the best pizza place and some guy from Brooklyn said that the best New York pizza was made b a guy named Joey in Nashville, Tennessee! Being from Nashville and being a Pizza lover, I of course know Joey's Pizza! I just never knew that it was that renowned! Of course Joey is from Brooklyn...

I did ask Joey about making a 48" pizza when I was there this week and he looked at me funny and said, "What are ya? Stupid or somethin'?" I thought that said it all....

The single best NY style pizza I ever ate was at a place called Dino's in Miami. Very upscale eatery, they spread out the crystal water glasses and set the pie on top. This was 40 years ago...
