I can understand why the cops did it, though. Alot of people park wrong thinking 'I'll just be a second...'. It happens thousands of times a day all over the world. Is it illegal? Yes. Does it really matter? No.

Yeah... but it's their job to give people a hard time about it so I certianly understand how and why its frustrating.

For something like this, which I can't see happening in my rural setting, I'd probably just be like "Hey, you shouldn't park like that. You should move over there..."

And then I bust out the TASER and zap'em!

PS- Here is something I think most of you guys would like to know: While not an unwriten policy in my department, I know of SEVERAL departments that tell their officers NOT to pull someone over unless it is 13 mph or more over. I use this as a general guideline.
