We might contribute a bit, but it's proposterous to think we have the ability to have a lasting impact on the climate on this third rock from the sun.
How can you say such things, you admit to "contribute a bit" yet claim that the overall picture is fixed and immovable. As if Nature were made of rubber and just springs back from everything man dose no matter the magnitude.

Man-made processes and alterations to the environment are now comparable if not larger then naturally occurring ones. You would have to have a very sound and verifiable explanation for how these changes could possibly NOT have a major effect, all I hear is a dogmatic belief that the climate is impervious to change.

Here are just a few examples of the alterations man has made to the earths environment.

Cleared half the Forests on Earth
Covered a third of the planet in Agricultural plants
Eliminated most species of land animals over 50lbs
Depleted most of the fish in the ocean
Damed nearly ever major River on Earth
Altered the composition of the Atmosphere by nearly doubling CO2 levels

Clearly our actions are not weak, tiny or insignificant so please explain how you think the system can take that much alteration and yet show no permanent changes
Companions the creator seeks, not corpses, not herds and believers. Fellow creators, the creator seeks - those who write new values on new tablets. Companions the creator seeks, and fellow harvesters; for everything about him is ripe for the harvest. - Thus spoke Zarathustra, Fredrick Nietzsche

Nothing extraordinary is happenening at the moment. Sure, humans might die, possibly get extinct. We won't be the first, and we certainly won't be the last. Sealevels have risen far beyond their current level, in ancient times. Sealevels have fallen way beyond present levels in the past as well.
They will do so again and again.

      Uh.
I'm just getting static on this thing.

If it's satire it's good, but alas, some people seriously believe such things.
