But they're so close to 10 years behind schedule. I was hoping they'd go for the vaporware record.

Did anybody else notice a significant Bruce Willis look to Duke Nukem in this trailer?

Better still, both games started development around the same time...

If this does actually get released, we'll still have Spore.

I think it's obvious by now that the "Forever" refers to developement time. It's a grand practical joke by George Broussard -- the dev team is actually playing games, eating pizza and watching porn while pretending to be making the game, seeing how long can they go on before people'll notice and they'll go bust.

The thing about Daikatana was that some people still had hopes of it being any good. Simply because of who was behind it and it having such a long development time and secrecy, maybe it was just so polished and creative that those circumstances were necessary. It was an unbelievable buggy and sub-par game!

I hope noone gets any expectations for this game/hoax/myth, maybe it will get a softer fall when it arrives (lol).
It's candy. Surely there are more important things the NAACP could be boycotting. If the candy were shaped like a burning cross or a black man made of regular chocolate being dragged behind a truck made of white chocolate I could understand the outrage and would share it. - Drosedars

Sucky trailer, looks like they are basically reusing content from old trailers/teaser movies now and doing a worse job.

Hey! Getting trailer out will still take at least 5 years! This was a teaser

I have high hopes this one will turn out to be epic. Lessons in life have been learned, and i'm sure George is well aware of the mistakes that can be made and is also well aware of what makes a game good. While personally I find Crysis to look better, I really can't say much as the teaser doesn't really show the engine very much, we have yet to see physics in action, weapons, environment, etc.

But thankfully, the voice acting for Duke is spot on, and that one is damn important to get right.

I like to think they will bother to hide messages in this video. The first thing I notice is that the video is 1:11 long. Is that January 11th or January 2011?

Solver the two makes very little sense.

                              1+1+1=3

I would say it's perfectly clear that the release date is 3111 AD.
