  • Please post your christian denomination here:

    I would be interested to hear to which Christian church you belongs:
    ---

    I'll begin:
    Roman Catholics....

    ....BUT;

    I begin to be interested in Anabaptism. I'm having bible reading with a friend of me who is an anabaptism.
    So we have strong debates about the roman catholic church.

    Another friend of me is a Roman catholics priest; we're having discussion about anabaptism, the position of child baptism, if christians should be absolute pacifism, the position of the Church and the idolatry of saints, the Pope, if christians can be work in politics, etc..)

    In my free time I try to read about the early church history; from 1AD to 4AD and also I began to read early church fathers.

          Early church history is sort of neat, although I haven't read the originals (I assume you mean the early church fathers like Iraneus (sp?) and others?). There are churchs in the Mid East and India that never joined Catholicism when it was starting.

          I am a SDA, although I disagree with (at least the common interpretation) of some of the doctrines.

                        Polycarp of Smyrna and St Peter were living during these times. That's why I included the first century. But I don't know when Polycarp became a bishop.

                          I belong to a former Vineyard Church, which pretty much follows the Vineyard teachings still, but just doesn't pay the dues. I like it, it's a hippy church.
