Reuven, Shimon, Yehudah, Dan, Gad, Asher, Issachar, Zevulun, Manasheh, Efraim, Binyamin and Naphtali

(note, there were 12 brothers, including Levi and Joseph, but Levi isnt really a tribe, cause its the priests, and Josephs two sons each get a tribe)

Oh. Too bad, I was hoping we had a literary nutjob with a black sense of humor for once. Oh well, let's get to work. Why did God send a hurricane to whomp poor black people in New Orleans instead of just striking anti-Israel politicians with lightning?

BTW, thinking about Hanukkah. And the timing of Christmas. and stuff.

Jesus, was from Nazareth. In the Galillee. Hes born in Bethlehem, cause his dads (Joseph, not the holy spirit or whatever) family is from there.

Now normally Id just say that the early christians made that up, so he could be associated with the tribe of Judah, and thus descent from David.

But thinking about it, it makes sense actually. The Gallillee tribes (of which Issachar was one, BTW) were eliminated by the Assyrians, and are lost (unless the Mormons are right). The Gallillee was retaken for Israel by the Hasmonean dynasty, the descendants of the maccabees, the heros of Hannukah.

And naturally, they had to resettle the region with the only Jews available, the Jews from the tribe (and region) of Judah. So the gospel may be correct, in tying Jesus to a family origin south of Jerusalem.

What that means, of course, is that Jesus was a Settler.

That's what I figured. I doubt we will hear from the thread starter again. He has said his programmed bit.

No summary needed - the OT speaks for itself.

Yes, but he's saying the OP is too damned long. I'm willing to summarize, since it's so redundant and basic. His argument is essentially:

                  1. (A bunch of bible verses)

                  2. Hurricanes and peace accords that did not give Israel exactly what it wanted have occurred close together in the past. This is a clear sign that God hates America for screwing the Jews.

                  3. A lot of people have occupied Israel, and then ceased to occupy it after a while, which is how there came to be a lot of people occupying Israel instead of just one constant occupation...anyway, this is a clear sign that God hates people who take land He gave to the Jews.

Presumptively He hated the Muslims less than the Brits, since He gave the former several centuries to rule Israel without permission whereas the latter had power over it for less than fifty years. If you disagree with this analysis, you will surely die from some cause within twelve decades, which is a clear sign that God hates people who question His prophets.

                    He's right, you know

They say there's an evil eye against people who conquer Israel.
