The plummetting U.S. dollar has resulted in great deals for Eurpeans. One British travel agency reports its sales of trips to the U.S. have increased by 40%, mainly to people who want to come here and shop.

Abu Dahbi has taken this trend to a new level. Yesterday, it announced that it was seeking to obtain a 5% stake in CitiBank.

China has pretty much kept its currency pegged to the dollar as it declines in order to maintain a competitive devaluation of their currency. The world really needs China to stop cheating and to let its currency float.
