They are actually concerned with the bottom line and how much money goes to the charity. The only time we get to stop working for example is during prayer. I can understand why they would want to pray since they are Christian, but I just think that from a business point of view that they should make sure that the prayer is done efficiently also, since everyone is on the clock.Originally posted by Pekka
Sounds to me they aren't in the business of business.... more like hanging around and working together or something. Nothing wrong in that.... in fact it's healthy to have businesses that aren't going to go for the bottom line 24/7. I mean it gives healthy choices for people to work in.
Oh well, I mean if they don't understand that the tree with the lights seems like a BETTER deal if it says the price actually covers the whole set... whatever. Maybe they aren't interested in selling them after all.
It doesn't surprise me that they'd have religious gatherings during the working hours, because the manager came late. I mean it prolly was the idea of the manager, or at least approved by the manager so I don't think he is the type that will be chosen as the business genius of the year. But then again... if that's what they want to do, I think it's good that they do it. If they want to have a pray in the middle of the day... basically I think it's their choice and their using it and they feel that they need it so why not... but it does seem a bit odd from business POV.I drank beer.
