There is no need for a selection process. Just have one thread where people would cut and paste what they think was the post of the week (with a comment and a link to the post if they wish). One post per person, editing permitted until the end of the week. Comments allowed in the same thread but only the next week.
Alternatively, if the interest shows to be weak, we can make it a monthly thing instead of weekly.Comment
