For those who aspire to live in a high cost, high tax, big government place, our nation and the world offers plenty of options. Vermont, Canada and Venezuela all offer you the opportunity to live in the socialist, big government paradise you long for. –Senator Rubio

Dwight: When my mother was pregnant with me, they did an ultrasound and found she was having twins. When they did another ultrasound a few weeks later, they discovered that I had resorbed the other fetus. Do I regret this? No. I believe his tissues made me stronger. I now have the strength of a grown man and a little baby.

This is different. As I said above:
But it's my cell, so...
either it doesn't have a soul (so killing it is no biggie)
or it has a soul, but the soul is...I dunno...mine?

I don't think any but the nuttiest nutjobs would oppose harvesting mature cells (skin cells, for example) of any origin in order to do research/treat disease. What they usually oppose is destroying embroyos or using destroyed embryos (as this creates a demand and promotes their destruction) as embryos are regarded as people, ergo, their destruction immoral.
If only we could take skin cells and cause them to dedifferentiate into pluripotent stem cells -- that's holy grail territory that is.
Someone get to work though, I need a new pancreas.
edit: Stem --> skinThe undeserving maintain power by promoting hysteria.
