Wall plugs are the same. Sure, without a doubt you can use our Smartbro connection.

There's alot of gaming time over there in between having a blast. Will your laptop handle it? Particularly if it gets hot...I mean its hot there.

My comp there has a switch between 110/220 but I never trusted that it would work...and I've burned my playstation too many times there because the plugs are the same to burn my comp by flipping a switch.

The laptop won't handle many games, and not for long even then. I'll look over the luggage regulations to see if I can fit my desktop in.

Perhaps I could disassemble it, take the components over, and find a cheap case there? About 80% of the volume is just air inside the case.

I listed the baggage allowance in the other thread. Regarding the case, I don't know how cheap it is but there are a couple of places in two different malls that assemble comps so I guess they sell cases.

I had no problem bringing my desktop. I wrote down the dimention listed in the baggage inst, went to my local walmart and bought a box that was slightly less than the inst. Then I put foam around my comp in the box and checked it in at the airport when we traveled. The camping foam I got was 2 inches thick sleeping pad. I cut the pad up and fit it around the comp. Made chair pillows out of it over there. The monitor I got there but if you have an lcd type monitor it should fit.

Remember you can check >>2<< luggage. So you could do a box and a luggage. They say 50 lbs ea but if we fly from Manila to Tag they'll charge us a small fee for everything over 45lbs.

That was before 9-11. You might want to call the airport you depart from and see what if any regs they have for desktops. I doubt there's any but you never know. Still, its checked luggage so it shouldn't be a big deal.

I've always played on grass, but have seen lots of people playing down at the beach on the sand too. Bumpy lawns are very unpredictable. Sand seems to allow a lot more precision.
